Here is Andy, helping to keep the streets of Peterborough clean and tidy. I stopped him to have a chat once Mandy and I had finished our singing Songs of Hope, Joy and Peace in Cathedral Square, Peterborough, England.
I believe it’s truly important that we recognise the men and women who do so much, daily, in and around our communities, but who are rarely valued by “the system”.

We really do have an upside down understanding of what’s important, valuable and worthy of being cherished.
But we can, and should turn it right side up.
Andy was surprised, but pleased, when I stopped him briefly to put my hand respectfully on his shoulder, and to thank him for the work he does.
He was even more surprised, then, but also really delighted, when I suggested we should take a photograph together!
